Who we are

Golden Koi (goldenkoi.trade) is a Chinese astrology website operated by YCX Group, Sydney, Australia. Card payments are processed by Stripe and may appear on your statement under YCX Group or GOLDENKOI. You can reach us at support@goldenkoi.trade.

What we offer

A free Chinese profile (a Chinese name, your Day Master element, your zodiac sign and your Zi Wei Dou Shu Life Palace star), free reference pages and tools, paid one-time readings, and Golden Koi Daily, a monthly subscription that sends you a personal reading every morning.

Readings are for reflection, not advice

Chinese astrology is a cultural tradition. Our readings are for reflection, self-understanding and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or investment advice, and you should not rely on them for decisions in those areas. Charts are calculated from the details you enter; the written text is produced with the help of AI language models from those calculations, so it can contain mistakes.

Who can buy

You must be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to make a purchase. The site is not directed at children under 16.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and include everything we charge. Your bank may add a currency conversion fee. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Readings are delivered online, usually within a few minutes of payment, and we also email you a link.

Golden Koi Daily subscription

New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription renews automatically every month at US$4.90 until you cancel. You can cancel at any time with one click from the link in every daily email or on your personal daily page; cancelling stops all future charges, and your readings continue until the end of the period you have paid for. We will tell you by email before we ever change the price.

Refunds: if you're not happy, we refund

If you are not happy with a reading or a subscription charge, tell us and we will refund you in full to your original payment method and cancel any subscription. Requests within 30 days of a payment are handled instantly on our Help page, or by email to support@goldenkoi.trade. After 30 days, write to us and we will still look at it generously. We would always rather refund you than argue. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank, so we can fix it quickly. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that apply to you.

Promo codes

Promo codes are free, have limited uses, and cannot be exchanged for cash. When a free code has been used up, the site may offer a discount code instead.

Using the site fairly

Please don't misuse the site: no automated scraping at scale, no attempts to break security, no reselling of our readings as your own service, and no use that breaks the law.

Content and ownership

The site, its design, artwork and text belong to Golden Koi. Your personal readings are yours to keep, print and share for personal use.

Liability

We provide the site with care, but readings and pages are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not affect any guarantee or right you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes to a subscription will be emailed to you. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
