The Metal Rat personality
Sharp-minded Rat with steel in the spine and speed in the head.
The Metal Rat stands out from other Rat years for its extra edge: quicker judgment, firmer standards, and a stronger need to stay in control. Rat is a Water sign, and Metal feeds Water in the Five Elements cycle, so this pairing tends to strengthen the Rat’s natural alertness, strategy, and social intelligence. Compared with Wood Rat’s flexibility, Fire Rat’s flair, Earth Rat’s steadiness, or Water Rat’s sensitivity, Metal Rat is more exacting and more self-contained.
