The Metal Monkey personality
Sharp-minded Monkey with a steelier edge and a strong instinct to take charge.
The Metal Monkey stands out from other Monkey years by adding extra firmness, nerve, and follow-through to the sign’s usual quick mind. Monkey energy is clever, adaptive, witty, and strategic; Metal makes it more decisive, more competitive, and less willing to drift or play things by ear for too long. Compared with a Water Monkey, this type is less fluid; compared with a Wood Monkey, less flexible; compared with a Fire Monkey, more controlled; and compared with an Earth Monkey, more cutting and fast-moving.
